Route planning
A route everyone can read
Transport staff, drivers and parents should see the same stops and times. Planning the route once and publishing it keeps everyone aligned.
- Stops, order and timings held per route and per run.
- Seats counted against vehicle capacity.
- Day-specific changes for trips and holidays.
- Parents see their child's stop and pickup time in the app.

Fees
Transport charges without a second list
Seat allocation and billing should agree. When a family joins or leaves a route, the charge follows from the allocation.
- Fee plans by route, distance zone or term.
- Charges added to the student ledger on allocation.
- Mid-term changes and refunds go through finance approval.
- Reports of seats used and fees collected per route.

Parents
Tell parents about changes before they ask
A late bus generates a hundred calls. A message to the families on that route generates none.
- Notify only the families on the affected route.
- Messages through the app, WhatsApp, SMS or email.
- A log of what was sent and when.
- Live vehicle tracking, if you use it, can be added. [CONFIRM LIVE TRACKING]

FAQ
Transport questions
Can we run transport for several campuses?
Yes. Routes, vehicles and fees can be managed per campus, with group-level reporting.
Can parents request a seat from the app?
Yes. Seat requests are designed to come through the portal and Elvis Connect parent app, and staff approve them.
Is live bus tracking included?
[CONFIRM LIVE TRACKING]. Route, stop and pickup lists are core to the module.
Can we bill transport separately from tuition?
Yes. Transport charges are separate lines on the student ledger, so families can see what each covers.
